And the Atlanta Journal Constitution captured the moment.
The only thing is I could not find the publication anywhere on the AJC website. It’s unsearchable. So, using an old fashion method, we cut the photo out of a hard copy newspaper and scanned it for the blog. Interesting, a real newspaper copy makes this photo look as if it was taken twenty years ago.
Photographer Laura Araya, who I highly recommend for all your wedding or baby photos, took the photo. We will definitely add this one to the memory box.
The photo includes our favorite Atlanta Parks Commissioner, George Dusenbury and City Council Woman Cleta Winslow. Also there was Karyl Clayton who was instrumental in getting the show ready for the press and Open House and for writing the checks.
Speeches were made and the ribbon was cut. And the afternoon was filled with intrigue and enthusiasm. It was a great honor for Ken and myself to be treated so graciously by the City of Atlanta. Let’s hope it’s the beginning of many more bioponic – aquaponic garden installations.
